You can’t win every battle. Sometimes circumstances dictate that teeth need to be extracted. Whether it be a result of advanced gum disease, extensive cavities or tooth breakdown, or because there just isn’t enough room for all the teeth in your mouth. Some teeth do need to come out. Wisdom teeth are a great example. Wisdom teeth are removed when they become decayed, when the gums overlying the impacted teeth become infected, or because they are, or will, cause problems for adjacent teeth.
